Satu hal yang paling saya ingat dari suami dan ibu mertua saya adalah kita tidak boleh membenci seseorang. Mungkin saya bukan pendendam, tapi saya bukan orang yang mudah melupakan masalah atau melupakan orang yang berbuat masalah dengan saya.

Rasulullah SAW bersabda, "Sesungguhnya rahmat Allah tidak akan turun kepada suatu kaum yang di dalamya ada orang yang memutuskan tali persaudaraan".

Yang akan selalu terngiang diingatan. Kita tidak boleh membenci seseorang karena rahmat Allah tidak akan turun. Saya belajar banyak dari kalimat ini. Belajar memaafkan dengan ikhlas dan belajar merelakan bahwa semua apa pun yang terjadi di hidup saya adalah atas kehendak Allah SWT yang baik dan buruk.

Saya belajar satu hal baru mengenai silaturahmi dan hubungan sesama manusia, itu sifatnya dua arah. Dan ini berlaku sesama saudara, teman, maupun orang lain.

Jar of Stars

Tuesday Greetings...

Phew... Where to start. Ok, we're on fasting month now. Which I like. I've been run out of idea since I am not very creative person when it comes to doing something new. I've been learning about insurance, financial planning, stocks, money market and other finance stuff in order to add more value for my self. Which I enjoy until I got a great headache from learning without stopping.

I was browsing something to give for a friend. I wasn't very creative with craft so that idea is a NO. But since I love gift so much, I feel in need a gift that full of sincerity. A handmade one. *impossible*

I keep on browsing a lot of stuff and attracted by 1000 origami/paper stars put in a jar or some people called it Jar of Stars. or Lucky Star. You also maybe know about 1000 origami cranes but I thought making an origami/paper star is easier that a crane. 

1000 origami cranes comes from an ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane or some stories believe you are granted eternal good luck, instead of just one wish, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. (source)

In Chinese and some drama 1000 lucky stars in a jar/bottle brings the owner a good luck or makes all their wishes come true.   

These stars that are folded and hand-made, are used as gifts, mostly between couples, to signify how much you love or care about someone. The amount of stars that you give someone has significance as well. If you’re not giving the stars as a gift of love, then the stars can be used to make a wish. (source)

Well, actually the amount of the stars doesn't have to be exactly a thousand but certain number have certain meaning.

2 pcs: Happy Couple
9 pcs: Love for a long time
55 pcs: Love you with no regrets
99 pcs: May the friendship/love lasts forever
101 pcs: You are the one
365/366pcs: Whole year blessing
520 pcs: I love you
548 pcs: Can't stop loving you

If you want to learn how to fold origami lucky star, you can visit here and start make it one by one until some certain amount. You can use unused paper or origami or any paper you like and make your own.

I tried to make one but it didn't work out the way I want it but I'll try again then I can tell you my lucky stars.

A Treasury For A Life

Friend I treasure deeply.

Nowadays people are like crazy with social networking. It's always pop up in my head, can we really happen to live without social network. It start with meeting a long time friend, a long length friend, an old friend then begin to the more you have friend the more you famous. Level. So u start to add or approve someone not really your friends. Then you realize you have lots of friends. But only those who keep updating status or news that catch you the most. (Think how many time you spend to look for friends if u have a thousand of friend).

I don't really give a shit with social networking. But I do have. But not like am a crazy one. I end up make my social network very personal and only close friends and colleague. It just am not that type of person who spend a lot of time making a lot of friendship. I do have friends but I guess I end up being very picky for this one. Because am not that kind who like basa basi, pretty much am straight to the point person. So do my friends. I'm suffer in silent type girl. So do my friends, I guess (lol). My friendship is very personal and require a lot of telepathy hahhahhha or emotionally connected. I mean I know it's a good thing to have a lot of friends but mine is a hundred feel like a million.

Social networking is just one of hundreds way to communicate with people especially the closest one. But I think calling (and off course a meeting will be better) still the best way to embrace our separate longing. It's never enough with leaving our thoughts, companion, and love through emotionless written messages. Spend some of your time to take care of your deeply treasure friends.

A Friend Without Aims

"A friend is someone who doesn't care about what you wear, how much money do you earn, where do you work, whose you make friends with"

That was my facebook status recently. Well again I got inspired from my surroundings. Yeah jadi ini lah hasil berkumpul-kumpul kemarin pada saat buka bareng. Di satu tempat yang sama ada beberapa group buka bersama yang memang beberapa gw kenal dan (mungkin) mereka kenal gw. Haha. Jadi seperti ini lah gambaran yang gw dapet. Dari beberapa yang ada gw memilih mendudukan diri gw di kumpulan teman-teman yang kalau bersama mereka gw ga akan repot mereka akan mikir apa. Pusing klo duduk diantara orang-orang yang sedikit-sedikit berkomentar tentang apa yang lo pake, bagian kerjaan lo, berapa gaji lo, dan siapa temen-temen lo.

So I set my but with my-first year in high school-friends which take a long time for me to meet them. I frequently absent every-time they hold some meetings. Melihat mereka gw bisa merasakan perubahan-perubahan di tiap individu dari terakhir gw bertatap muka dengan mereka. Yang paling excited buat orang adalah dimana lo kerja, dengan begitu mereka bisa tau berapa gaji lo. Pembicaraan akan berbelok menjadi saling membangga-banggakan apa yang mereka dapat, apa yang mereka lakukan, apa yang mereka akan lakukan dengan apa yang mereka dapat. Well, it stuffy for me. Dan kemudian akan terdengar "Wah keren lo ya", "Wah asik donk jalan-jalan terus", "Wah hape lo bb seri terbaru", "Wah gw abis ke Bali", "Wah nanti kita ke Singapur", dan "Wah Wah Wah" lainnya ya.

Gw senang mendudukan diri gw diantara temen-temen yang ga bikin gw cape dengan stuffy stuff like what i mention. Gw ga perlu repot gw mau keliatan cantik atau ga, pake baju branded atau ga, tas mahal atau ga, sepatu asli atau ga, mereka kerja dimana, jadi apa, gaji berapa. Temen-temen gw adalah orang-orang pilihan which is yang bisa nerima gw bener-benernya gw bukan gw yang fake. Gw yang fake hanya untuk mereka yang fake juga. Impas!. or mungkin mereka juga ga tau klo mereka fake.hahaha..

Well, be a good friend for someone then s/he will become your good friend in return.(but just don't expect to it too much)
